Great NEWS! Folks An update on UHC. We requested the District Medical Health Officer to visit and take immediate actions to which she has agreed to. We brought all the problems to her notice and demanded immediate action on all the items. These are the major breakthroughs from our team. Updates on UHC • The hospital will be run 24/7 starting from today. Earlier it was working only 7 hours a day. • Executive Engineer of water works has been questioned on not providing water facility. He promised he will provide the facility within a week or so. • Lot of rubbish in the premises of the hospital is being dumped by the residents. All residents have been warned not to do so henceforth. They will be served a notice if they are found doing again. The current garbage will be cleared immediately. • A minor portion of the vacant land belonging to the hospital has been encroached. Actions are awaited • 2 months salary is released and absentees have been reprimanded to not to do so. • Adequate amount of bed sheets & beds will be provided in a couple of days • Citizen charters will be displayed. Sub-centers will also display the information. • The hygiene conditions of the hospital will get a facelift and also will sustain the quality. Now, to sustain this effort we need at least 4 volunteers who adopt this UHC and spend at least 2-3 hours a week. Please contact us if you are interested to bring a change to this hospital which can be useful to thousands of residents living in the community.
