//Can IPL make team india strong enough to get a world cup?// yes, but when selectors truly pick the squad based on IPL performance, factors like pitches , attacks in IPL vs those in world cup coz of the deadline they had to name the WC squad before IPL...else any1 with half a brain of sreesanth wud have picked ojha as the second spinner and dropped yuvraj singh pauchwala... |

Article on cricinfo: http://www.cricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/455812.html Nice read. Looks like the environment in india during IPL is totally different. Everyone is excited and on could9 during the event. And as a typical NFL fan, I feel totally lost and bored as soon as the season ends. The same might happen to an average cricket fan back home. Even mothers are might feel the boredom. As per the article, I get a feel that we might give more importance to the event than the game as a whole. Can IPL make team india strong enough to get a world cup? Pandithulu cheppaale, as I dont find interest in this shortest format. In this db, there's always someone watching you!! |
