emp A extension came for oct 2008 - oct 2011 december changed to B. B filed and got for Dec 08 - dec 2011. naaku occhinaka, wife ki jesam, then usc vollu edo continuity rule apply chesi aaameki oct 2011(yes 2011) - dec 2011 iccharu. since I94 is already valid thru old employer upto oct 2011 ani ,just oct 2011 to dec 2011 iccharu. but anyway, we went out and came back, and all is straight forward now | ||

This is what happens when you dont file jointly. Becoz you have no option, you went with it. yes avunu. possible. extension vocchinaka thru prev employee(2088-2011) when i changed a company in 2009, h1b COS doubtful unde attorney suggested , 1st lets clean your mess and then once u get a h1b transfer success, later we can apply to wife. so aa case lo I only got the transfered h1 and later wife ki h4 chesthe, INS simply just gave her normal approval with the wordings saying that since her I94 is already valid thru the old employer upto the 2011 period, ani cheppi, without I94 icchesadu. offcourse, anyway we went to india trip and she got a clean stamping and entered back usa with a brand new I94. | ||

Rekka, Venky: h4 cases lo I94(bottom) portion i have seen disparities. it varies from case to case. rekka, did u apply h4 extention along with yours. ala kakunda, wife ki only extension apply chesi unte, sometimes, OLD PETETION lo I94 valid date ranges unte, new I797 may not have a i94 attached to it. rekka, inni enduku le gaani.... Generlly USCIS nundi oka approval notice ostadi which will not have I94. USCIS at the sametime will send the actual approval H4 document to your lawyer, which will have I94. So nuvvu first di choosi untavu.. It happened to me last year.. In this db, there's always someone watching you!! | ||

may be you received a courtesy copy. generally the original has I94 at the bottom, but courtesy dont. my 2 cents | ||

Rekka mama I know what you are talking. Simply said, your wife is looking good now. just forget about her I797 and notice of actions (A or B or C). as long she is out of usa she is fine. and when she completes a h4-visa stamping and enter usa, she will get a valid I-94. If she is going with you to consulate (h1 stamp u, h4 stamp her) then she need not have any I797 etc stuff also. Just being your wife she is automatically qualified for H4. | ||
