8 Charged In Militia Police Plot; 1 At-Large Leader, Two Sons, Wife Accused Of Plotting To Kill Police ADRIAN, Mich. -- Nine people tied to a Christian militia based in Lenawee County have been charged with conspiring to kill police officers then attack the officer's funeral in the hopes of killing more law enforcement people, federal prosecutors said Monday. Members of the group called Hutaree are charged in the case, including their leader, David Brian Stone and his two sons. The charges follow FBI raids over the weekend on locations in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. | ||
