Higher education ni 70% privatise cheyyali. Right now Govt controls 4-5 universities per state and that is leading to disparities in oppurtunities and devaluation of education. Privatising universities will help in creating oppurtunity to deserved and it will lead to higher standards in teaching and student body. State universities lo reservations ki criteria lo economic BG,Region and Merit add cheyyali along with caste. This type of system will include needy OBC students who may not able to compete with other OBC students in terms of IQ,Financial BG and proximity. Providing jobs is Govt primary responsibility and I am all for reservations in jobs but Govt should reserve jobs which are at LDC and UDC level only. Promotions should be offered to employees in those levels based on evidence that they have demonstrated ability in their current roles. If you want to avoid abuses, just remove all reservations. --- just remove is not going to happen.....forget it.... Phasing out is the only solution, but then who out there would agree that they have been uplifted? pratical solutions isthey better...... taking Reservations in one instance is not going to happen no matter how many times we say it. so start changing it by introducing Economic status and then phase that out.... i dont see that happening......atleast in near future... Reservation is becoming a necessary evil for the indian people. Granting reservations is not a charity business since its involves lot of tax payers money going to fund the receipients. We had seen enough fiasco of the reservations , its defn going to become a monster and unless its tamed its going to spread cross-fire spitting down the line between reservations and nonreservations category. just like uppercaste/lower caste disputes. Having said that, there should be some rationale and amicable solution to this menace. How Many of You feel reservations are genuine necessary? How many of you really have got benifitted out of this Reservation? Did it uplift thier families and economics upto any extent? How Long /Generations should be given though??? My Solution: GOvt should take a affirmitive stand and start implementing it to ROTATION Basis like If 2 Generations has taken this Benifit then that Family Should be stopped to that Family.
