1st DTS Theatres in AP are JAGADAMBA , TarakaRama : 1995/96 time ke start chesai. Sangeet was constructed in 1969 its a pretty old theatre, but got the entire limelight in and after 1990's . Due to HYDERBAD side english theatres closing or fading away.. KUMAR /SKYLINE veetini kottevadu ledu initial ga.. It depends on the actual screening theatre. normal telugu movies konchem rents takkuva unte vatini teeksuni vesthu untaru.. somemovies like Magadheera,etc were screaned at Ultra screen multiplexes... where sound/screen/effects were Perfect... Desam lo few theatres equipped unnai but hardly see online-dump relay (ex.Sensation Insomnia 2004 time ke undedi). Reliance Recently Broadcasted this for a recent movie in BAY AREA (telugu) "chinmaya chidaaanda chidvilasa brundaavana sundara sukumaara saundharya gaandharva lalaaama Thana yavvana poooritha prapoooritha prajwalitha netra thanaku thanai digivacchina vanithaa mani thana vihaara vinoda vinooothna spoorthi andhamai gandhamai anubandhamaiiiii..... 99% of the theaters ki DTS/DD anteemito teliyani time lo ikkada adi standard anukuntaa. Hyd lo sangeet etc started early on... So technology/sound system per se you can't even compare them. But as Nani said, big hero entry appudu, item song appudu mana local DJs rechipoyi sound blast chesthaaru... so if you like it that way then they are good. IMO, Good sound system ante chevulu chillulu pade sound output ichedi kaadu... anni freq sounds ni enta detailed gaa process chesthundo adi. i guess here we have better sound systems compare to india, but the problem here is this, i dont know how it works in India, someone in the projector room increases the volume or the print itself comes digitalized with such re-recording effects -example we know a kick-ass song or scene will sound more fun with advanced sound effects in India, but where as here i guess the theater management will by-pass those effects to reduce noise and keep the volume levels controlled through out the movie. by the way JAI HO Dingora - idosthey mathram kathi assalu... already most of us have a home theater, inka next few months lo Home Theater sales and prices will be booming emo  When you point a fingre at some body remember that there are three fingers pointing at you and one finger pointing at God | ||

the whole idea is that he will get into contract with them and he claims can be controlled by state. so in the states where there's no theatrical release of an SRK movie, we may be able to use this. If it works and even if he charges 5 bucks, completely worth it. | ||

i think this system is for NRIs in USA only...dont think they will release such things in India....BTW nuthing beats the ambience of watching a movie in indian theatres not even the best theatres here have such sound system | ||
