Mekalani, aavulani champi thintaaru kadaa? They do so to consume. Dolphins meat on the other hand has high mercury levels. Its not adviceable to eat. No one should be eating it. Ikkada cheshe langesham endi ante: They trap the fins for shows ie, like seaworld etc. What they do after trapping them is, see which fin could be trainable. Most acquarium park reps come here and hand pick the fins. One fin could fetch you around 1.5mil. Then, the unpicked fins are been slaughtered mercilessly, which is not needed at all. Why kill them when there is no use? In this db, there's always someone watching you!!  | ||

A very well made documentary on how japs are killing dolphins in the name of tradition [which infact is not]. 23,000 fins are killed each year in one of the islands called taiji. This brutal killing is exposed by americans by taking good amount of risk. One of the amazing things about fins is: they are self aware.. a mirror was put under water and one of the fin was aware that the mirror image was her'ss/his's.. Must watch doc. Worth the oscar.. In this db, there's always someone watching you!! |
