Excellent Job Lagadapati.......I always heard bigtime CEO's/ Corporate People donated to their IIT's and Premier Business Schools like IIM's.... It is always great to hear people donating to regional colleges also.......I also worked very closely with my college placements department to get more corporate tie-ups with my college for campus selections....... Wonderful Job ....I hope this funds are properly utilized by VRSEC College !!!! | ||

Lagadapati donates Rs. 1 cr. to college Staff Reporter VIJAYAWADA: K. Mohana Rao, principal of the Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College (VR-SEC), Kanuru, has said that alumnus of the college MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has donated Rs. 1 crore as corpus fund to the college through the VR Siddhartha Engineering College Old Students Association (VR SECOSA). Mr. Rajagopal has handed over the cheque for the same amount to Mr. Vishnu Vardhana Rao, president of the Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education at the 33rd college annual day celebrations held on March 12. The management committee and the principal thanked the MP for his magnanimous donation to the college, which they said would be utilised for the welfare of the students.Mr. Mohana Rao said that the dignitaries who attended the function included Siddhartha Academy secretary N. Venkateswarlu, treasurer P. Lakshmana Rao, vice-president of academy and convener of the college M. Rajaiah. They handed over gold medals and cash awards to meritorious students, Mr. Rao said. |
