mikky, IMHO ikkada facilities chala ekkuva. Obviously, I don't know about Anoos kani, it's easier to eat better food here. India lo ayite fried food etc chala ekkuva, ikkda you have to make or buy. Shop ki vellakunte there is no buying.

Anyway, 20lb in 3 months is good. In general everday 30 to 45 min workout chesi proper food tinte u can get rid of 2 to 3 lb a week. 2lb a week is a very realistic goal for most people.

rasp, if you start some form of exercise your overall weight will go down. If you do it regularly you will get a good muscle tone and over time you will have a tighter and firmer body.

pgp, meeru annadi correct ye. kani those who don't have a gym, can't go to a gym - they all need to get some kind of exercise. So, walking where they can and take stairs is an option.

With stairs going up is suggested, but not going down b'coz going down puts a lot of weight on your knees.

weight ekkuva vunde vallu can't take stairs to more than 3 floors anyway, so taking stairs should be okay, unless they are doing again and again like in a bootcamp.

Trainers suggest this actually. pull in ur stomach while sitting down, walking and anytime u can.

When going shopping or to work, park as far as you can. Walk everywhere u can. Take stairs anywhere you can.

Try to walk 10,000 steps everyday.

Drink 2 liters of water everyday.

vatti dieting tho not much changes. tinna food anta ekkadiki vellali? It ends up becoming fat. Dieting is not going to burn that accumulated fat - if it does, it will be very slow.

You can walk, but not like the walk people do when they take their dogs for a pee-break :-) You need brisk walking. If you are not into the gym scene, start with walking and change to jogging over time. Look up couch to 5k on google. If you can walk 30 to 40 mins everyday that would be a good start.

crunches ante enduku bhayam? Join a gym, reduce smoking and drinking and spend that money towards weekly training sessions with a trainer. That suggestion is free.

PS: don't mind my ribbing. All in jest and with good intention.

How does your body to burn fat from that area when needed?

i know my bil had lost 9 pounds....and i know someone who lost just an lb..depends on the body fat and the discipline....but the best part is, considerable tummy fat will be burnt anta.....

i am planning to try gm diet when my wife takes off to desam in a month..

Netsaint ... food intake tagginchakundane ... u can reduce ur tummy ...
but what ever exercize that u do ... crunches/running/brisk walking/stretching .... u have to do it very REGULARLY and keep testing ur threshold ...

Life long chestune vundali..run cheyi.. Running is very hard to do 3-4 days in a week.
