Life without goal futile: Botcha Special Correspondent Panchayat Raj Minister indirectly defends his aspiration of becoming Chief Minister HYDERABAD: Sticking to his stand favouring bifurcation of the State, Panchayat Raj Minister Botcha Satyanarayana indirectly defended talk of his aspiration to become the Chief Minister, saying a life without a goal was a waste. The Minister was interacting with Telugu Desam Legislature Party (TDLP) secretary Dhulipala Narendra Kumar in the Assembly lobbies in the presence of mediapersons. The Minister ran into Mr. Narendra Kumar while making a bid to meet Praja Rajyam leader Chiranjeevi. Mr. Kumar was hinting at how âJai Andhraâ slogan could push Coastal Andhra to a disadvantageous position when Mr. Satyanarayana made this significant comment. âIf there is a loss by raising such a slogan I will be the only one to suffer the most but if something good happens then the entire system stands to gain.â âPeople will decide' The TDP MLA then told the Minister that he was talking like this as he was interested in the Chief Minister's post. Mr. Satyanarayana said if a person could become a Chief Minister merely by speaking about it, then others who talk more than him could fit the bill. âI am working towards a goal and a life without a goal is a waste. People will decide who is to become what.â |
