Thanks. Never even noticed the 777 brand. I buy MTR most of the time. iamiam, India lo kooda chalane preservatives use chestaru. That was my point. Not that this recall affects Indian products. Pre processed food has many failure points. There are so many ways things can go wrong. I saw this yesterday and thought about posting it. This is just one example and a known incident. Wonder how many go unreported. They are not even sure how many products to recall since this ingredient is used in so many companies. My wife makes most of masalas at home since both my kids have food allergies and we have to be careful about what we put in these masalas and curries. We used to grow lot of vegitables in our back yard for daily consumption when we were kids. I think going back to our good old ways is the best option. | ||

I don't even use sambar powder or rasam powder. For rasam - chesinappudu danchukuntam miriyalu+jeelakarra+garlic. dhaniyala podi, jeelakarra podi, kobbari podi etc used to bring from India but lately I have been like why bother my mother when I can buy here. biyani mix, tandoori mix, chetta chedaram always bought in Indian store. American products ayite recall etc untayi. Indian store lo konte vasana balekunte padestam kani, there is no such thing as recall kada. | ||
