When Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu called the national media to have a personal interaction, everybody thought he would be making some sensational statement that would make national news. But the media persons were surprised when Naidu started talking about the achievements of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and his immense contribution to the Indian cricket. Finally, he said Sachin Tendulkar fully deserved Bharat Ratna, as he had made every Indian proud. âI completely agree with Sachinâs submission that it is a privilege for him to get the award,â he said. Of course, Naidu also spoke about rising prices and recent hike in petroleum prices, after talking about Sachin Tendulkar. What made the media persons wondered was why Naidu forgot to raise the demand for Bharat Ratna to his father-in-law N T Rama Rao, which he used to make every year.
