i dont know how this toy exactly looks... but recent ga india ki poyinappudu.....Hamnuman soft toy okati konnam.....India loney.....it was very cute....my kid plays with it....ee madya kinda padesthuntey.....we took it and put it into a showcase. Its a very cute doll.....ikkada description choosthuntey....naa daggara unnadhi adhey anukunta.....last lo luggage nindipoyina...i made sure i get that doll for my kid.... we put anjaneya swami sindhooram.....daily.....even to office....my kid....easily associates the doll with it.....dont know what's the fuss....about making that doll. i dont think any religious parent will let their kids carry these toys to rest rooms...... parents should advocate the sanctity of these special toys and then introduce to their kids..probably there should be an age limit to these toys.....when the kids are mature enough to understand the existence of god..say 4-5 yrs?? | ||

basic ga the onus is on the parents to insure the kids do not treat the toys with disrespect.. AND what better a way to familiarize these abcd kids with hindu Gods than toys?? if it is India, the kids get to see images of their Gods everywhere.....here it is different..there HAS to be some medium through which the kids willingly connect to their Gods..and this idea is great.. I believe these special 'toys' will connect the kids to their Gods in a spiritual way..... i am not being a liberal here..i am only for the propogation of a great religion..and i believe this will only propogate our religion than it does any malice.. | ||

I think the issue with hinduism is that our mythology and gods are entwined. Kids read stories about our gods in comic books, cartoons and story books and we all saw cartoon films with hanuman and vinayaka in them. If you see from that perspective a doll of hanuman or ganesha is not wrong. however, if you look the whole thing as these are our gods, we don't make dolls, we don't throw the idols in toy bins, we don't throw them away in dustbins when the doll gets too old, these dolls are offensive.
