MS...interesting point....kurrod was obsessed with perfection.... Barry Lyndon ani oka cinema untadhi..period movie..andhulo theres a shot when the heroine in period costumes with long flowin gowns n hugee hat just walks into a picture perfect frame capturing the a huge balcony in a palace with flowers n trees all around n the hero just standing with his back to her....u see scenes like that in almost very movie...but when u see that shot even with a very lite bg score u know that ur watchin something special...its just her walkin n standing behind him with no dialgues....but that scene...that frame....it tells u everything about that period...the beauty,the class,the culture,the art,the postures,....then i saw another program and was shocked to see how many times they had to shoot a normal scene like that to retain that effect.... Thats the greatness of kubrick....though looks like he is makin a movie...he is actually painting....true artist....even when their movies suck in content u cant blame them for execution.... | ||

The thing i like about kubrick is Attention to details...the characterization of the drill master in full metal jacket n the whole bomb droppin scene from dr strange love....the entire scene of the kid enlisting in jail in clock work orange , the full ritual portrayed in an eery manner from eyes wide shut.... okkatenti he is a master in crafting such scenes....his strenth is he takes his own time to portray such scenes n yet he holds audience by their balls n grabs their attention.... | ||
