Most atheist arguments are against few specific God theories like: - a personal god with human-like attributes (siva,krishan,jesus,etc) - an all powerful universe driving god - existence of miracles / superstitions However, they should realize that all these are attempts by humans to understand the nature of their existence and answer questions like: where did we come from? why are we here? who are we? There are also some very logical theories which try to answer some of these questions without the need for the existence of a personal god.. i know advaita, buddhism are few of such philosophies. Atheists should try to answer these questions if they can. All these arguments for/against god are meaningless if the only purpose is to kindle one another. The folly of mistaking a paradox for a discovery, a metaphor for a proof, a torrent of verbiage for a spring of capital truths, and oneself for an oracle, is inborn in us.- Paul Valery | ||
