I have been a fitness freak for the last 5 years. Irrespective of what you do the most important thing to keep fit is the proper diet, even if you do not do any exercise..

I think many have given superb suggestions for the diet..
One thing I emphasize is eat your dinner 3 years before going to bed..

As someone pointed out, pick a problem and think and solve it - It works wonders for me..This is a powerful activity that burns lot of calories indirectly, by reducing stress and improving metabolism..

If you are really dead serious about fitness, try CrossFit Gym.. It did wonders for me. Its hard initially but its worth the investment for an extremely healthy life..

After all, there is nothing more important than one's health..

i switch between free weights and instruments bro. The weight depends on your capability. It also depends on the number of reps of each excercise.

some people prefer shorter reps, i.e 6 at a time. and they chose heavier wieghts.

I prefer the longer reps, i.e 15 at a time. on each hand or leg. this means the weights are usually lower(like 20 for dumbells).

upper body target chese appudu, you will have to choose different wieghts based on the type of muscle you are trying to put pressure on. i will send you some literature as to types of excercises you can do.

weights change by time. as time goes by you will be working on heavier wieghts.

inka after 15 mins walk ayithe office lo untaamu kadha. there is a lake near my office, dhaani chuttu oka two rounds vestha. between 3 to 4.

idle bro,

nenu follow ayina routine chepthaanu,

I work out in the morning for 90 minutes. wake up at 6:00, bike or run for 30 to 40 mins, remember this need not be intensive, this is just to get your heart rate up. you should be able to speak comfortably while doing this.

This routine is for 3 days a week. and in the rest of the days, in the evenings i spend one hour on bike, running or swimming. if i have company i play volleyball, tennis.

Diet:
Early morning, before the start of routine, i eat two spoons of honey, so i dont faint during the excercise. this is important an important thing, you can also eat something that a has lil bit of sugar content.

Breakfast:
Make the breakfast heavy. I have milk and cereals(which i hate). some orange juice. egg whites. this is usually around 8.

10:30
have some kind of snack, something small, like some kind of nuts, or may be some fruit.

1:00 Lunch
Lunch can be heavy, I usually have some grilled meat, mostly fish or chicken. with chapathi (1 chapathi) or cup of rice, and some salad at the end(which i sometimes replace) with other stuff.

3:00
I go for a small walk, at a brisk space for about 15 minutes.

4:00
a snack again, sometimes i tried those tiny flavored yogurts and i think they fit very good, along with some kind of nuts

5:30
the days i dont workout in the morning, i spend one hour someother activity.

8:00
dinner, grilled vegetables and some meat again, no rice or chapathi.

you can change the timings of your workout, but make sure, you follow the same time on the diet. Dont worry too much about the weight, you might actually gain some weight, if you do not have enough muscle already. just keep track of whether you are loosing fat or not.

your diet has a problem, you are not giving enough to body after the workout, this will hinder the growth of muscles and actually make them weaker. if you are working out in the evening, try to replace the parle-g with something with more protien.

Lactaid Milk is Milk without Lactose....However, a lot of people complain about the taste....

When milk is made into yogurt, lactose gets fermented...So, Yogurt does not contain lactose...I enjoy Yogurt/curd and avoid milk completely...{I have become lactose intolerant recently...knew it was coming..}...

For heaven's sake, stop propagating rumors/false beliefs...Milk is one of the best sources of nutrition out there...Pour a tall glass of fat free milk and enjoy it everyday, if you can....

However, the real problem is that most Asian adults (including south asians) have a disease called "Lactose Intolerance"...In adulthood, they become deficient in the enzyme "Lactase", and henceforth will have problems with milk digestion....The disease is less prevalent in people with European ancestry...

If you are over 25 and don't have lactose intolerance, you are lucky...enjoy milk..

10.30 black coffee with 2 spoons sugar
12.30 lunch rice with curry or roti with curry or subway sandwich or salad.
3.30 tea with 2 spoons sugar
dinner at 6.30 lunch rice with curry or roti with curry or subway sandwich.
8 PM at gym. burn 300 calories by just walking.
10 PM fruit juice or milk shake.
goto bed at 11
weekly 1 or 2 times fish curry.

bro...dinner chesi cardio cheyyavachu...but have dinner between 6:30 - 7...then do cardio at 9 ..nothing but doing cardio 2 hrs after a moderate meal ( where carbs are major portion)
what u have to watch out is dont sleep empty stmach after gym...eat a small meal - banana with handful of nuts

meeru chestunna gym- dinner -sleep with 2 hrs gap is good...
make sure u have energy in tank before u hit the gym...dont do it on empty stomach...

I am going to go on a GM Diet starting next Monday. If you don't know, GM diet spans for 7 days and depending on the body type, one may loose 5 to 8 kgs in 7 days.

I am gonna give a shot next week.

My suggestions-
(1)Wake up at around 4.00AM
(2)Oil pulling
(3)Oil massage(before bath)
(4)Yoga and mediation 1 hour(Finish all activites before 6.30 AM)
(5)1 glas sof fresh fruit juice(no bottled juice please) as break fast.Do not eat any break fast(If you are hungry have a few nuts)
(6)Drink green tea, red tea, white tea etc 2-3 cups before lunch (without sugar and milk)
(7)Strong lunch at 12.00 noon.
(8)vegetable juice or fruit juice, teas etc till Dinenr time
(9)Have mderate dinner.

If you want Ayurvedic suppliments:
If your age is 35+, i suggest Sidha Makaradwajam with aswagandha lehyam.
If you are in 20's Chyawanprash or Saraswathi lehyam or Rathna purush lehyam tablets of combination like Brahmi,Bringaraj etc..

Ofcourse there are so many ayurvedic suppliments depends up on the needs and body types....

cardio early morning kakundaa ayithay...do it 1.5-2 hrs after u have a moderate meal...u will burn carbs better
also do weight exercises/muscle training twice a week at least

night apple + carrot enti bro, chilaka laaga...have ur dinner in 1hr after ur workout...dinner kee have some curry with less oil, roti/bread, lil bit meat/fish..

meat/fish roju kee two times tinna paruva ledhu but quantity should not be more than what fits in ur palm( congress hastam kaadhu just palm)...
