rama means opposite of mara ante marnam dati velley vidhanam, adi anjaneyudey, ramuni avataram aiporundi kadhao, hanumantudu maatrame chiranjeevi avtadu, hanumantudu monkey, monkey mind ki chihnam, mind can reach that state of nirvana, that is what valmiki discovered. He meditated seeing death and suffering, and wanted to see the end of it, where is man coming from, how is birth happening, where does he go to. This is a question that human mind has explored for millenia. So he also went to meditate. Finally he got his answers. karma, rebirth and moksha. He wrote ramayana to share his insights but also wanted people to keep attention so it has kingdoms, jungles, vanaras etc. But the ultimate story is about overcoming death. That is why he created hanuman, a brahmachari. so that people would understand tobdevote their lives to brahmacharya and continue the pursuit of human life and its existence and death and realise the same what valmiki realised. That is why buddha also encourages monkhood. Buddha after becoming enlightened said this very words that rewonate with the way of hanuman: open are the doors to deathless, those whonhave ears may repose their faith. Buddha is also from suryavamsa. if it is important. digitalspy you said rama is hero, rama is family man. but ramayana says due to kingly compulsion sita was kept far. so how is that taking care of family responsibilities, unless youbsee your family as your kingdom. Their enemies are not man. They are intolerance, fanaticism, dictatorship, cupidity, hatred and discrimination which lie within the heart of man. I also believe with all my being that the struggle for equality and freedom you lead in Birmingham, Alabama⦠is not aimed at the whites but only at intolerance, hatred and discrimination. These are real enemies of man â not man himself. In our unfortunate father land we are trying to yield desperately: do not kill man, even in manâs name. Please kill the real enemies of man which are present everywhere, in our very hearts and minds. If you analyse mahabharat before kurukshetra there are so many ego trips from fathers and grandfathers generation that even the sons and and grandsons get influenced by and continue the rivalry. this story tries to highlight the politics, identity and ego issues etc. but because they are not able to tell society how to live with unity, they try to tell people not to make same mistakes. but if you read buddhism, we can see how to live with unity. this is the extra teaching special in buddhism because buddha is master in psychology like prof xavier. buddha says he also kills, he kills anger and hatred. for buddha his kiling is directed to different object. there is a popular reference regarding ramayana by many great people like chankaya, vemana, and many saints. ie why to believe in a golden deer when everyone knows golden deer doesnt exist. ehat dharma did rama follow in this aspect. | ||

I dont have any negative opinion on Ramayana, I am saying in 14000bc society was different and evil people like ravana were killed and 3500bc sisupala was killed and 500 bc Buddha had different things in hand so he went to teach dhamma to one brahma. So society developed so much that instead of winning wars buddha was winning brahma worlds, naga worlds, yakshas, manushas, devas etc | ||
