Because ramayan is our ancestral home we tend to take it more relevance but common folks don't go to read vedanta or Upanishads dhamma etc, so they all are familiar with god's like Shiva Vishnu Brahma etc so they make rama and Krishna also as god's, then came kabir, tulasidas etc. poetry regained life after serious monastic limelight for centuries until kalidas. Then for 200 years it went to prosper. Thereafter, both monastic and artistic taste has lost significance after saturation. Since being a solely alms based religion due to wars invasions they slowly got less support and disappeared. I am not scholar or historian, but with my spiritual experience I realised everything that went wrong with us was not due to losing interest in monastic life or because of bhakti movement but because except for Brahmins rest of us are lazy and stupid, among us whoever was little bright went into monkhood because it is intellectually enriching. However like I said we are fools that's why constantly fight like crabs, because these sages and buddhas lived here we are like this | ||

I am also in a way not happy either with buddha or Buddhists as they never care to come forward to unite, until now I thought so that they don't want to make a scene but now I see they are also bit off, similarly the Buddha tried his best to make peace with neighbours but little did he talk about our own society, in this factor, swami vivekanands was more inspiration. Declined because we are fools, having been told by parents and others that sankaracharya defeated buddha, same reason we happily let east india company, same reason we are still believing God after no god came to help even today when 2 soldiers died in Manipur, my tamil friend told if we live in a desert and pray to god that railway fall will it happen, god is a hope, but something very urgent I want to share, after that you will all know clearly how and why buddhism declined | ||

I appreciate your threads but now all imagination has been diverted exclusively to Buddhism due to so much happening everywhere. I saw short sightedness in our approach that we keep quarrelling with each other, for this also I have my experience to share. Friends more than any of you I loved the rama, krishna, shiva, vishnu, etc. They teach so many good things. Yet love gives pain also. Like karna I too thought pain is endurance. Then one day kundalini raised, I realised there is higher stuff than in meditation than just offering prasadams. Then I came to Buddhism, and feel emotionally involved with humanity. Then corona happened and everything got cleared. I tell you all teachings of sages, of gods and saints and noble and good men, all their knowledge is preserved in Buddhism such that buddhism becomes a superset of Hinduism not only in quantity of teachings but also quality. To appreciate higher teachings of kundalini we have to have that experience but buddha by his instruction will bring that blissful state even by words. And buddha is wise than anyone in this universe, and buddha unlike other teachers never say to steal or kill, a truly gentle person. I actually don't want to be a loud speaker for buddha or buddhism, bit because I cannot write here other things I am trying to growninterest in you so that you would give a small chance to hear what I am going to say | ||
