For me, the movie is awesome except screenplay. While Ram Charan has done amazing act, he is a breeze as a cricketer and aces pehalwan transformation. His acting in night cricket match and national kusthi games are top notch. The writing of characters like Jaggu bhai, Shivanna and Villagers are very nice. They have done superbly too. Jahnavi role is very limited and doesnt go well with sophisticated audience. But talking about this character alone is cherry picking! Hopefully with the new cut version this is addressed as wrll Be Kool | ||

Emi cinema raa naayanaa. I was extremely disappointed with Peddi. I honestly can't believe Ram Charan agreed to be associated with a movie like this. I struggled to sit through the first half as it was painfully boring. While the second half was slightly better, it still lacked a proper storyline. Even after watching the entire three hours, I’m not sure what the director was trying to convey. I also don't understand why Janhvi Kapoor chose to be part of this film. In my opinion, the director showed no respect for Sridevi's legacy. The unnecessary double-meaning dialogues and distasteful scenes were completely unwarranted. As an audience, we should reject such content instead of encouraging it. Apart from Ram Charan's performance, there is very little to talk about in the entire movie. A star's screen presence alone cannot carry a film that lacks a strong story and meaningful content. Unless audiences outright reject such half-baked movies, filmmakers will continue to dish out substandard content and take viewers for granted. Director ku oka dhannam raa naayanaa. |
