kids can get parent or someone as escort, still as a 14 yrs old kid, he can handle easily if someone drops him near the security check in hyderabad consulate. in consulate security/staff very friendly with kids, my 9 and 12 yrs kids went last year, no issues, also i saw a kid under 10 also on the same day | ||

It should not allow to generate Interview Waiver confirmation when I scheduling appointment for my self and dependents. It didn't ask any 14 age limit and whole family got qualified for dropbox. We did staming interview 2 years back only. This is not fare to validate at the time of drop box submission. | ||

Today we went to DropBox Hyderabad to submit the documents. They accepted documents for my wife and mine. Unfortunately, they didn't accepted the documents for my son and were told to schedule for biometerics and interview for him as he completed 14 years age last March 2019. When I was scheduling for the drop box in May , I was never informed about 14 age limit, successfully we got the interview waiver confirmation letter. Otherwise I would have planned the trip accordingly. . Our return trip scheduled on last week of July, but we can't leave him alone in India. My Son came to US at the age of 7 months and all his life time living in USA with short vacation breaks to India. As a minor, he doesn't know much about India and can't able to manage alone here. Drop box folks suggested us send an email to support-india@ustraveldocs.com. I am planning to send mail to provide appointment soon and provide permission to parent escort with kid while attending fingerprint/interview appointments. Any thing else I can do in this situation? Need suggestions. |
