It is like a spam mail for lawyers In cases where a judgement on a class action is delivered.Judge generally says to compensate $xx milllions who ever got effected or claims to be effected So,in this pool of settlement fund,the law firm has to settle to claimants. If there is 1 million and only 10 claimants,it will be settled 1 million each Since it is a mass litigation,the lawyers will be sending out mails to everyone who is likely effected (based on the records in the company ,in this case JPM) You may have been a victim/effected party and so you got the mail.If you want you can claim and get compensation check (Once I got a $20 check from Discover has someone filed a lawsuit on Discover for automatically enrolling customer is some kind of insurance ) | ||
