Forget about the media interpretations of the bill. Pay close attention to the proposal. The only number that matters is 140k EB gc's . Let's see how it changes and where it changes! There is tremendous amount of misinformation. The media heads and several people in govt don't understand immigration numbers and patterns like we do. They just relay party statements . This plan is supposedly worked by Kushner.. I will be curious how he plays it Let's take a look at One simple tweak . In the 140k EB numbers, take away the family numbers . The immediate family members(spouse and kids) Give them GC but as part of family based numbers. That will release about 60% of GC numbers. Nothing they can do fetch any better results for employee based guys. How many of you will support that? The uncertainty of your immediate family entering another queue?? Pay attention to what the bill is saying. Newspapers doesn't do justice The whole point based system is just distraction. EB is merit based system.
