thanks a lot. it worked. whats the difference between clearing cache using ctrl+f5 and clearing cache using settings.

I tried clearing cache manually earlier but that didnt work

ctrl+f5 has nothing to do with cache.. its do with hard relaod vs normal reload. clearing cache and hard-reload(ctrl f5) is what you did.. which is cleaner as it gets.. :D

You may also try to disable the cache through Dev tools and then reload the page. This always works for me.

Did you set clientcache cachecontrolmode to DisableCache in web.config? If not, try it out.

i have a controller where im defining columns.
var cols = [{field:'name',displayName:'Name'},{field:'location', displayName:'Location'}]

Now i changed the displayName:'Name' to displayName:'Full Name', but the change is not reflected in Chrome and even on debugging i dont see the updated value in cols. Tried deleting temp files, deleting cache but nothing works.
any help? TIA
