Alliance with national party is needed for AP Politics since there will be dependency on central funds for state growth - Cant go with Modi - PK cant go with cong, Bob went with cong, maya, kejri, farooq - Jagan went with TRS, which is nonexistent alliance - Only posisble option left is Mayawathi 2. If you want to filter non corrupt parties you will end up with zero after filter, except for CPI/CPM no other party has non corrupt politicians 3. BSP has an image of identity politics. Despite of what ever allegations it is looked up as a party for SC/STs. Because of this they have vote bank in AP also which was evident from previous elections. 4. By doing a Social engineering of SC + Kapus + PKs own influence votebank they will be able to tilt the balance towards them in elections These are all the factors BSP alliance is a good play by PK. And why he is in awe of Mayawathi, it is simple. Any times you go for alliance you will see and talk only positives in your ally partner, thats basic political conscience. Bob will talk about rafaele now earlier it was Bofors but now bofors is immaterial.
