RGV definitely is trying to grind an axe here, and not sure why. He did not have to release it before the election, or may be he thinks, during election there would be more people willing to hit the theatres to watch this movie. Stands in line with how he seems to be making decision these days, and added to that I read one of the producers seems to be a YCP sympathizer(to say the least) - although he claims politics has nothing to do with it. I understand if there are rules that such movies cannot be released prior to election, but I misread that CBN was behind blocking the movie, and hence the thread.
basing our decisions based on "assumptions" that Jagan is "involved" in Viveka's death is not right. Although there family does have a history faction and killings. I think i have made it clear many times, Jagan is no leader material. Nothing I have seen so far suggests that he can come up with processes that are needed in establishing and managing a state. Infact, Jagan is THE liability for YCP. Most ditractors of YCP do not like YCP because of Jagan - and most people who like YCP seem to like it because Jagan is YSR's son. YCP under another leader, could have made AP parties much stronger. Two strong parties, means people are in good hands. Anyway - just my opinion | ||

Nothing is banned. Court stayed the release and this is fairly common in such instances. The other movies you were referring to did not slate release 2 weeks before election. The judge doesn't need any more basis than RGV interviews and tweets and the way he marketing the movie to make a call. The stay is only until April 3rd. He could have released a month earlier or a month later. I am sure he anticipated it. I love RGV. I am very much interested in what he is going to tell. It is disappointing that he is resorting to histrionics than strength of his story telling. He had a gold mine of story to work with. If he did a decent job, before election and after election doesn't matter | ||

Lakshmi's NTR ban in AP anta kadha... Man, you are losing all respect. Irrespective of what the movie is, even politically the move is a blunder. Atleast you should have thought about what NTR did when there were movies against him - and with a direct vengeance. |
