that's because of two reasons... unlike germany or southren europe, france, they have oodeducation ..most of them speak nice and fluent English...English is more vibrant there ... cost of setup is low and cheap, highly skilled labor.... a top-notch programmer can be hired for 10k zlotys and works happily...convert it to dollars or euro...you get 2-3k dollars or euros...its peanuts... Good number of Banks have moved to Warsaw already.. they have setup a near-shore sort operations within EU.. ika Berlin/Frankfurt is what i believe future cities - the blocker is this "german culture" thing.. i believe Russians are good at Math, then programming.. but the LDN mkt is still way behind the USA standard.. startups, paisa undi kuda.. if brexit happens most firms go to Paris and amsterdam ..followed by Frankfurt ...not Berlin...
poland doesn't even have Euro as their currency, their currency is zlotys..poland economy is good, but doing job in india is better than doing it in poland...pay is high in zlotys...but when converted to euro you can call it peanuts...
coming to jobs again...eastern Europe has lot of programmers...market is saturated, thats why you always seesomeone from russia, belarus, latvia, lituania, etc hacking US computers...because they have lot of talent there..western european jobs in IT are filled by them if needed....thats why there is no demand like USA for IT jobs, pay is also average....

with this Brexit to&fro - the expectation is that after brexit lots of LDN finance firms scatter to EU.. Germany waste annai....India type.... hierarchical, but high job security....within 4 years you get german passport after having job, provided you learn German language.... taxes are freking high....50-55 percent will be cut from gross, add on top of it health insurance is 14 percent of your gross salary....half would be beared by employer half by you.... one good thing is if in recession and you loose your job government pays you unemployment benefits....paternity leave of 1 year...where the company pays 70-100 percent of your salary.... .................................... but job culture is very different....office lo office work tappa no one even uses Gmail....no one even talks during work, you'll find it strange.... one biggest con is you can't climb the ladder like in USA....BMW to VW all top bosses are germans, its impossible to reach top like Indians do in USA .. ............................................................ .... netherlands is a trading country more open for talent like the USA, it has a relaxed work culture, people are friendly and also direct.....growth is just like USA, but unlike USA jobs are more environment oriented, out of 100 jobs 40 are in field of environment and climate, 30 are in maths, climate and IT, remaining 30 all together...engineers dont have an USP here like Germany.... altogether 2 different economies and job markets...
