Actually the word Telugu in the presentation of each director is differently taken/understood. Compare the TELUGUness in the following director's movies 1) Viswanath 2) Bapu 3) Relangi 4) Kammula (marendaro mahanubhaavulu) Being born on Telugu soil doesnt mean that the celluloid presents their birth roots on the silver screen. A director dreams something, he tries to orchestrate different art forms from their respective field experts and tries to present his dream. Still its His/Her dream only. If it matches to the audience dream, it gets along (and sometimes it makes money commercially), if not also , the director never stops dreaming. The so called Telugu Girl is NOT REAL in the Dream, its an imagination then why do they need to stick to a REAL(Telugu gurl)? | ||

Feelings and emotions of a Telugu girl are always the stories of Sekhar Kammula's films. The way his central plots revolve around the Telugu nativity area another aspect. However, he never has any credentials of naming his films with Telugu words and also this one. From Kamilinee Mukherjee to Nayantara, Tamanna to Sai Pallavi, Kammula never roped in Telugu beauties as leading ladies though he has given life to many newcomer Telugu boys in Tollywood. Looks like now he is going to cover up even that slightest criticism as well. In the upcoming film of Kammula, where he is introducing a newcomer yet again as the hero, Sekhar has opted for Telugu speaking Hyderabad raised girl Dimple Hayathi. Quite known in modelling circles for her Miss Diva act, Dimple is already part of films of award-winning director Sunil Kumar Reddy's Gulf and she is part of upcoming Abhinetri 2 of Tamanna. Well, after Fidaa, Sekhar Kammula has taken yet another bold decision of not working with big stars and has treaded in the same victorious path of working with newcomers. We have to see how is he gonna mesmerize us this time. |
