few years ago I actively participated in the US tour of this visually challenged kids and raised some good amount. I have been in touch with them and they contacted me with a program "Tribute to Ambareesh" as "Ambi Namana". If anyone can find some time and interested can buy the tickets and attend the event. I know the trust guys in person and visited their Bangalore office as well. I am planning to buy couple tickets and if anyone wants to use them and go please let me know. Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled takes immense pleasure in inviting you to Ambi Namana, a mega musical charity tribute on March 3rd, 2019, in memory of the late Kannada actor, Ambareesh. Samarthanam mourns the loss of Ambareesh who greatly believed in our cause. We have been constantly motivated by the eminent artist who was a great source of strength for Samarthanam. In honor of the well-known personality Late Mr Ambareesh, the concert ‘Ambi Namana,’ will be attended by celebrity artists, singers, actors and guests from the film and music fraternity. The programme is scheduled on the 3rd of March starting 5.30pm onwards at National College Grounds, Basavanagudi, Bangalore. The invitees include renowned singers Dr. S P Balasubrahmanyam, Sri. Hamsalekha, Vijay Prakash, Gurukiran, Darshan, Harikrishnan, Arjun Janya, Manjula Gururaj, Archana Udupa, Anuradha Bhatt and Nandhitha. The orchestra shall be led by drummer Mr. Arun and dance choreography by Mr. Mohan. Eminent artists of the Kannada film fraternity who have worked with Mr Ambareesh during his versatile journey with the sandalwood industry namely Rockline Venkatesh, V Ravichandran, Shivarajkumar, Sudeep, Darshan, Yash are among other artists participating in the event. The programme will be coordinated and led by Mr Shivaram S, senior cine artiste of Kannada industry. The funds raised during this charity musical event will be channeled to support the initiatives of Samarthanam, namely, the construction of the Accessible Barrier Free (BFA) Residential building at JP Nagar for people with disabilities and the elderly.
