inko simple options is to make an infopass appointment to your local USCIS office and ask for the i140 copy or receipt number, they would give receipt number for sure. Just refer it on any applications, you dont need to keep a copy. | ||

Simple trick: Call USCIS service center, ask for your A# (Alien Number). Its YOUR OWN, not your EMPLOYER OWNs it. Once you have A#, you can refer this A number in your future petitions with a covering letter saying your previous employer ABC, Inc had an approved i140 on USCIS files, which you were not provided the copy, use it for my new employer etc.. USCIS can pick up ALL petitions using the A# (A# is the primary key for all USCIS chitta). You really dont need even a receipt number/copy at all | ||
