Sorry I was busy all the month... unexpected life loss 2 close members in relatives. I was following db occassionally but could not respond to some posts I wanted and express my views of the recent incident. 1. I felt bad for the Tuni icident. This should not have happened. Many news agencies and many on this foum felt that this was done by YSRCP people, in a planned way. This may be right to some extent but no one would know except for those planned. I feel that this was done rather by angry irrational mob who are blind follwers of Mudragada Padmanabham. I apologise on behalf of my caste people to the people in that train. I feel sad. (I felt the same when Tank bund statues were demolished) 2. More important thing is to think what lead to this episode. Kapu caste reservation is not simple to as we all know now. Now that you all know the history, you guys know that it was originally there, taken off, then given then no etc .. see-saw many times. Costal belt people see this as betrayal by many politicians. Its like taking their right as per law for some political reasons than a genuine reason. This has built up as rage in hearts of people. Especially the northern coastal belt upto godavaris are really hurt. They see the advantage BCs are taking but their own right is taken away. So naturally people are volatile. Secondly Kapus (like many other non-reservation castes) have seen many occassions wheere BCs intentionally utilize normalquota and save seats for their buddies. All thois adds up over the years. This is witnessed by many gang wars in villages many times between BCs & Kapus (very unusual kind of its own beteen two sects, unlike anywhere in the 2 telugu states). 3. For people who are angry on why Kapus are asking reservation in this new generation of technology or developed India... you guys dont want to see/know the ground reality. There are poor lot of poor people in the caste. Why do you think they are not the control of state politics. Then next question obviously is "we all have poor people in our castes, so, why only your caste?"...THERE COMES THE HISTORY TO START WITH. ITS NOT NEW PEOPLE ARE DEMANDING. If you guys are so genuine for the cause of anti-reservation go FIGHT for reservation-mukth-Bharath. Not Kapus. Many people in the other non-reservation castes do many illegal things for survival. I have witnessed many during graduation getting poor/farmer certificate for fee weaver, getting BC caste certificates to get in to good college. So dont't lecture us. Try the real good thing-- remove all reserevations, not fight against us. 4. Political leaders and parties are not ignorant fools in this issue, like the state division issue and many other important issues. They knew state division was inevitable but want to get properly established and get the votes for "we are the reason for centre giving Telangana". Likewise to get their political mileage they are now trying to use Kapu caste as an unit to get more votes in the new state. You people can be in denial but Kapu vote is the biggets winning point for any political party to pet in to power from the next elections onwards. If you dont beleive go and talk to your respective parties. They are not fools like us. 5. I want to see a good Kapu as a CM. I wish Chiru could leave congress. But it looks like he deeply into the core committee level soon, he may not reverse back from his desicion. My wish is atleast PK will do this. People like Mudragada and institutions like Kapunadu has good hold in our caste and have so much support at ground level but they will turn into votes with a charismatic front face only. I wish people like Mudragada and Kapunadu being in background supporting PK as the future leader. These are good people with good intentions. They should rule the state not some dumbos. Ypu may ask why caste based CM.. I say why not?? Is this not how this is all happening. Are we pure ?? What are the eligibities of being NTR being a politician ... or CBN, or some Yellayya etc At least some if not all old geereation Reddy CMs are somewhat eligible (rest are crap too). AND THERE IS NO ELIGIBILITY OF A PERSON BEING A POLITICIAN EXCEPT FOR GOOD DEEDS/THOUGHTS. 6. Also its always number game in the politics. We are strong community in number in the divided state going up to 28-30% That itself should be a reason for a Kapu CM soon. Funny arguement I see everytime when Kapu caste is in discussion is that people argue "we (TDP, congress, YSRCP ets) are giving good no. of posts to kapus so why do they need CM post.... BONGU.... If some Kapu CM comes to power with support of Kapunadu ets they we will give you the required number of posts as per number....fair & square to you all... we will treat nicely all castes unlike these bongus. If you don't agree with my numbers concept of majority number should rule, then go and ask your caste party leaders why they give tickets to majority caste people in elections all sides (very few exceptions only). Bottomline: I don't like any reservations in India except for a hand picked (yearly basis by some sort of research) to uplift when needed. But I also laugh at your hipocrisy and hidden agendas.   Mods please delete if you dont like this discussion. But I see no reson why a discussion can't be with appropriate reasoning, not just abuse. |
