taking new number in india will take 3 days. first application submit and tharavatha vadu intiki vachi inquiry chesthadu,phone inquiry kuda avuthundi. you need to submit proof of address and photo id card..(ration card lo nee name unte submit cheyyi,PAN card unte adi kuda submit cheyochu) next plans ki vasthe regular sim with data plan this is called voice sim next is exclusive data sims, 3g speed 2mbps vasthadi.. fuc'in horrible ,naku 3 days chukkalu kanipinchayi ,finally oka idea center lo 100Rs/day ki oka ammayi thana data card ichindi, i unlocked my iphone in us and taken a data sim, naku sim teesukunappudu teleedu adi only data ki paniki vasthadi ani, finally oka cell shop center lo okadu aa data sim ni iphone lo set chesadu, i can receive incoming calls ,na unovon app ni iphone lo set chesa, so i can use my voip phone to making calls, using that phone i can receive call on regular number, another number is for laptop, plan accordingly, you need at least 3 days to get a new number, this is the new rule in india for any carrier. if you have already number add data plan, but speed ekkuva ledu, valla plans chala complicate unnayi, Happy Anniversary | ||

But, to use the sim for iPhone, it needs to be cut as micro sim. They cannot use it later (assuming they on not on iPhone) | ||

While vacationing for say, 3 weeks.... oka phone kaavali. 1. Can I carry my iPhone from US and use there? I will unlock or get it unlocked upfront 2. Any preference on the carrier in India? Do I get data plan along with voice? 3. Do I still need to submit documentation (proof of Address) etc.? For US citizen, what can we show? |
