Will Seemandhra resignations work this time? With the reports from New Delhi indicating that the Centre might take a decision in favour of Telangana, the Seemandhra leaders, cutting across party lines, have started resigning from their posts of MLAs and MLCs to step up pressure on the Centre to stall any such move. Congress MLC from Anantapur Shaik Hussain submitted his resignation to the Samaikyandhra Joint Action Committee leaders who laid siege to his house on Tuesday and demanded his resignation. Already three MLAs and two MLCs had resigned, protesting the proposal to bifurcate Rayalaseema. Another Rayalaseema leader Kuncham Venkata Subba Reddy, president of Rayalaseema Rashtra Samiti, declared that he would hang himself to death before the Assembly, if Rayalaseema was divided. The resignation of Seemandhra MLAs and MPs was the masterstroke when the Centre made the controversial announcement on December 9, 2009, commencing the process for formation of Telangana state. The en masse resignations of the Seemadhra leaders had shaken the Centre and it had to backtrack on the Telangana issue on December 23. Later, when the Telangana leaders submitted the resignations, it could not have any impact on the Centre. Under these circumstances, one doubts if the resignations of Seemandhra leaders this time would have any effect on the Centre’s decision. ఎలాగైనా విభజన ఆపి తీరాలని కిరణ్ ప్రతివ్యూహాలు! విభజన దిశగా తీసుకునే నిర్ణయాన్ని ఎలాగైనా ఆపి తీరాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కిరణ్ నిర్ణయించుకున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. "ఈ విషయంలో ఆయన వైఎస్కంటే గట్టి పట్టుదలతో ఉన్నారు. బలమైన ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తున్నారు'' అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సన్నిహితవర్గాలు తెలిపాయి. కేవీపీ రామచంద్రరావు, ఉండవల్లి అరుణ్ కుమార్, లగడపాటి రాజగోపాల్, కావూరి సాంబశివరావు మొదలైన సీమాంధ్ర నేతలతో కిరణ్ రహస్యంగా వ్యూహరచన చేశారని తెలుస్తోంది. 2008లో విభజనను వైఎస్ తిప్పికొట్టిన విధంగానే కిరణ్ అన్ని అస్త్రాలను తయారు చేసుకున్నారని, విభజన వల్ల వచ్చే ప్రమాదాలను వివరిస్తూ నివేదికను రూపొందించారని సమాచారం. విభజనను వ్యతిరేకించే వాదనలు, గణాంకాలు, సర్వే సమాచారాన్ని సిద్ధం చేసుకున్నట్లు చెబుతున్నారు. గతంతో పోలిస్తే తెలంగాణ నేతలు బలోపేతం కావడం, అధిష్ఠానం వారివైపు మొగ్గు చూపుతుండటంతో కిరణ్ అప్రమత్తంగా ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఇంత చేసినా.. అధిష్ఠానం విభజనకు సిద్ధమైతే కిరణ్ ఏమంటారు. 'మీ నిర్ణయమే శిరోధార్యం' అని చెబుతారా.. లేక 'ఎంతకైనా తెగిస్తారా?' అనేది చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారింది. "బ్రహ్మాస్త్రం ప్రయోగిస్తే తప్ప విభజన ఆగేటట్లు లేదు. విభజన యత్నాలను కిరణ్ పకడ్బందీగా తిప్పికొడతారన్న నమ్మకం మాకుంది'' అని ఒక నేత చెప్పారు. సీమాంధ్రను జగన్కు అప్పజెప్పడం మినహా విభజన వల్ల కాంగ్రెస్కు వచ్చే ప్రయోజనం ఏమీ లేదని వైసీపీ అనుకూల ఎంపీ సబ్బం హరి ఢిల్లీలో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ నేతలు కొందరికి చెప్పినట్లు తెలిసింది. విభజన జరగకపోతే ఏ పార్టీకి మెజారిటీ రాని పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడవచ్చునని, అప్పుడు కాంగ్రెస్దే పైచేయి అవుతుందని ఆయన గణాంకాలతో సహా వివరించినట్లు సమాచారం.
