You are being judgemental. It is inconvenient to discuss because i have no idea of the topic, whether who was responsible for what and how much. There is less than 10% of the proof than there was in the 1984 Sikh Riots where there was direct evidence of Cong leaders involvement.
Even if he is, what is the harm in that. We have had decades of mollycoddling of Bureaucrats and govt. employees. They need a firm kick in their ass which was what CBN did.. | ||

Andaru kottukoni sachcharu ga...i fall squarely in the CBN for AP and Modi for India camp. So with that preamble, here are some thoughts. - Modi today is CBN might have been had the Telugu folks not dumped him at the elections. Watching CBN today hurts me, today he is doing the very things that he was against - he was the development oriented, modernist, he was the bureaucrat/ govt. employee bashing authoritarian CM much before Modi took it forward and made it fashionable. Now there is little to differentiate him from a all free- Congress. He should stand up and tell the crowd what they don't want to hear, you can't count yourself as a leader otherwise. - Modi has the same qualities as CBN but probably better crowd working skills and oratory skills, but he had the main advantage of governing a state that was always industrialised, aware and not one to be misled by false promises of free power etc. CBN unfortunately ran into the free wall erected by Congress. It is the Telugu people's shortsightedness (that we are first non pareil) that we gave all our development away over the past 10 years. - There is no other party, barring TDP, which has ensured better communal harmony without indulging in pampering and pandering to the minorities. Congress is the worst, they indulged in pandering and also rioting at the same time. If there is anyone who can complain against Modi of creating disharmony or whatever it might be, it can only be the TDP. Whether that is correct or not is a matter for another debate. Congress has no moral or historical right to this. They are the worst of the lot. - CBN has lost his touch as a thought leader. On Telangana he should clearly spell his stand - as i have said earlier, his stance should be Telangana with Hyd as a joint capital. That will create at least an image of someone who is willing to compromise to get the Telangana folks aspiration. That is the only workable solution right now and if he comes out with that right way, he can atleast claim credit and take it to the masses. - CBN is still the best alternative for the state. I dare ask anyone in this DB to suggest anyone else who might come close. I hope he does have that modernist streak left in him. If not, he should just hand over the baton to someone younger. This is the last chance for the state. Similarly, Modi at the centre is a last gasp chance that we have. Another 5 years of the UPA and we are sunk. |
