This is where KCR has failed miserably. Even before there was any movement whole heartedly regarding Telangana, KCR dropped his gun and announced the merger proposal. After Congress started playing mischief and deafening silence from 2011, KCR had to move heaven and earth that it is only a one off proposal but not the final word and has been trying with utmost difficulty to get a separate identity for TRS in Telangana as a political party. But now with reported moves of Congress regarding Telangana, cadres of TRS which are gearing up for Panchayat poll have reportedly started questioning TRS leaders in towns and villages across the region to give a clarity whether TRS will merge with Congress or not and though KCR is taking his time to answer, the cadres are giving an ultimatum to Gulabi Boss saying they are unable to answer people’s questions regarding the same.
