Kuppuswaminaidu:

prathi vadu IT loki radu, raakodadu. You need other jobs - welders, oil drillers, pilots, soldiers.

There will be more number of Mcdonalds, Starbucks, Subway, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts and more number of engineering graduates are going to work in these stores.

IT

Forget IT... an entire nation cannot live on one sector ...

As of July, last year, 187,386,162 are in 0 - 14 age group.

and 116,019,042 are in 15 - 24 age group.

In the next 7 years, every single one of these 116,019,042 will be in the work for.

Not to mention newer jobs need to be added for those entering the workforce from the 0-14 batch, of which some will be of working age.

It is insane....

prathi vadu IT loki radu, raakodadu. You need other jobs - welders, oil drillers, pilots, soldiers.

Competition will be immense and salaries will be bad.
It is going to be a slaughterhouse for those who get lost in this race.

Kuppuswaminaidu:

Number of job openings have been shrinking down in India and most people want to jump into IT with no desire to innovate something new that will generate enough jobs for the next couple of years.

People are in for a bloodbath.... add to that -- too many jobs needed and not enough worthy ones to go around...

a lot of people will suffer. you cannot employ the entire youth in IT and most cannot come to the West.

http://www.ndtv.com/article/india/50-per-cent-of-indian-grad uates-not-fit-to-be-hired-report-384202

India produces 50 lakh graduates every year. Experts say with poor English language skills, computer training and analytical ability, making the cut from the classroom to the boardroom is not easy.

Himanshu Aggarwal, Co-Founder and CEO, Aspiring Minds says, "Our education system continues to be put down by the rote learning concepts. These rote learning concepts are not training people for functional skills who are going to be deployed into the industry in a more readily fashion without any extensive training."
