Hmm..True..but Nole has a better record against Nadal compared to other Top players and the past 2 years there's hardly been anything between them. Greatness abt Djoker is when the world was obsessed abt the enigma of Roger Federer and the man repeatedly owning him - Rafa, a time when both of them were at their peaks and had the tennis world at their feet, this guy shows up and beats them almost everywhere, especially at Grandslams. This is no ordinary feat in any sport when 2 GOATs are dominating and someone comes and beats them consistently. Djoker can already be proud of his achievements and shall win the French some day. Might end up with 12-13 himself at the least. When you say Nadal almost had him at the AO 2012, the same applies when Djoker almost had him at French 2013. If you ask me, at present both are playing at the same level and wudn't be surprised if they share the remaining slams in the next couple of years. Anyways, the Golden Era of Tennis if you ask me. Let rejoice while it lasts. | ||

Roger Federer is a class apart. Ee nadals, novaks or murrays Fed class ni touch cheyaleru. Prastutam form lo lekapovadam lo fail avvachu. My guess is Nadal will win another 2 french opens and at least 3/4 other tournaments. if u think, the ONLY person who stopped nadal on all surfaces for 2011/12 was novak - wimbledon, us and australian. it was purely bcos of mental block issues. like sachin from our DB said, that is history. novak also lost to fed and murray. its not that he is in super form like in 2011. going forward, nadal vs novak will be more interesting with 60-40 chances. | ||

Federer also won his 16th Grand Slam when he was 28 and took 2.5 years for his next. So 27-28 is around the time tennis players peak. People who say that Nadal is only 27 overlook the fact that he has been playing virtually for almost as long as Federer, the age does not matter as the playing career. Federer has been playing top flight tennis since probably 19 while Nadal has been playing since he was 16. So there is not a lot of tennis ahead of Nadal, especially because of his playing style. One more injury like the last year and he will be closer to 30 by the time he recovers. That coupled with the rise of Djokovic and Murray have made his chances tougher at the Grand Slams. | ||
