I have to go to Mexico via the US in a couple of weeks. I am thinking of getting a TV back to India. I have two that i picked out of Amazon...my criteria were Samsung, 40 inches or lesser (my living room can't take more than that)and should be within Rs35 K (the customs limit in India). So here are two that i shortlisted: USD 479 - http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN40EH5300-40-Inch-1080p-Color /dp/B0074FGR74/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=13708019 49&sr=1-2&keywords=Samsung+LED USD 649 - http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN40EH6000-40-Inch-1080p-120Hz /dp/B0073WAK8K/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=13708019 49&sr=1-4&keywords=Samsung+LED The second one is a 6 series but has no SMART features (those are immaterial to me though) and costs $170 more than the first. However it is supposed to prettier in design and performance. The former is very nicely priced (well within my customs limit), has SMART features though supposed to be a bit thick. If any of you has any personal experience or suggestions please let me know. I have to place an order in the next two days on Amazon so that it reaches the mailing address of my folks in the US from where i can pick up. |
