Typical mana cinemallo vaadevi 10-100. Yes TFI lo.

Close up to wide shots ki 20-100 range chaalu. 18-55 theesukunte you will end up buying a 55 to 200 or something. every time shot theeyali ante lens adjust chesukovaali. Carrying 2 lenses and changing them is a pain.

Try to stick to one lens even if it is expensive.

well, taking pictures of my kiddo running around in a park with 50mm prime would put me in a serious running business... ;-)

Really? 85mm or 105mm macro lenses are used close up Portraits. The results are much better than 35mm prime.

Correct, i have a Zuiko prime (for my Olympus) 50 mm prime, conversion is 2 X, so that is 100 mm on a traditional camera. Great for portraits but it is too long, i think a 35*2 would have sufficed.

Filmbuff, yeah makes sense. But portraits ki ayithe 50mm 1.8 prime undhi. Telephoto end ayithe 55-250mm undhi. The alternate all around lens us canon's 15-85mm 3.5-5.6 which is like 899$. In general kit lens nunchi upgrade avadaniki trying. Another option is 18-135mm by canon. Did not hear great things about that. Same with 18-200mm

Koncham atu itu ga undi...it is neither a "wide" wide angle, nor a good portrait lens (100 mm unte bavuntadhi) and nor does it have a good aperture. 2.8 is not that great for taking indoor photos or portraits. Deenikante manchi lenses untayemo...my two bit....
