I work for a fortune 500 company. Pedda tumri attorney department who deal with immigration (We are a global company). So lot of immigration work. We have to chase people for visa extensions. I do my own EAD extensions and get it reimbursed. They told they will do it from last year and I allowed them. They dint apply for my EAD on time and I had to stay away from work for a week. Bottomline, immigration stuff is complicated. Most people dont get it.No one knows about the consequences of not doing certain things on time, other than yourself. You are responsible to chase people, have them send emails and follow up with attorneys etc. Most companies dont have systems to track visa expires. In my case, my legal person kept calendar reminders for herself 6 months before the expiry. Great. One fine day she left. And no one knows about that reminder including myself. | ||

" I was on F1 visa and working on OPT status in USA. Unfortunately my prime vendor was Wipro. These guys beeged me to join wipro. I negotiated with them and they agreed to pay me huge salary and promised to file H1B. I felt like my dream came true. But the reality I saw is hell after joining this fxxking company. Premji's mind is made with full of shit.I just want to slap each and every manager of Wipro. They forgot to file my H1B for year 2012 and I fought with manager for doing this. He promised me that he will make sure that everything goes well. Then I trusted these people and stayed back. My OPT will expire on April mid 2012. The team(it is called OOC) who file our H1B will stay in India. I don't know what the •••• they do in India when all employees are in USA. I literally begged, so called dumb shit illiterate manager to initiate my LCA and He dont know how to do that. •••••••• manager, who is good for nothing. He took morethan one month to initiate my LCA which can be done in 2 mins. Which delayed H1B filing. The OOC team in India sits like buffalo's and says-"I dont care. I didn't get LCA. I cannot file H1B". Now the whole story is different.I started begging each and everybody becoz this is my life. OOC team, manager and all other who are involed dont care at all. They just treated me like a dirt and they dont care if I die. My ••••••• lead said"Do you think Wipro cares If you leave?".They just want there daily task to get completed. At last I ended up enrolling as a student again. We come to USA as student and struggle our ass off and manage to get to this stage and this fxxking Wipro will ruin it in a seconds. For everything you have beg your manager, lick his legs, say yes for every shit he says. They are fxxking ••••••••• who talk sweetly but does nothing. The words I used are not enuf and many many more stories I can write here. I think this is enuf to get the picture. " |
