Former minister and senior Telugu Desam Party leader from Warangal Kadiam Srihari is likely to be shunted out of the party, if the reports coming from inside the party are any indication. TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu is learn to have serious note of Srihari’s comments that the party had plunged into a worst situation in Telangana after Naidu’s padayatra. “Though the party has taken a stand in favour of Telangana, the leadership has failed to take it into the people and they are still looking at the party with suspicion. There were no constituency in-charges in 40-50 assembly constituencies in the Telangana region. Naidu is listening to only his coterie and has not been able to understand the ground realities,” Srihari said at the Telangana TDP Forum meeting. Another senior leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu, said to be a right hand of Naidu, has taken strong objection to Srihari’s remarks. Making an indirect reference to Srihari, he said the party was plagued by some pests, which are damaging the party from within. He wondered how some people leaked the internal discussions to the media. “Such persons can get out of the party. Otherwise, Naidu will take a decision on their fate, once he returns to the headquarters,” he said.  | ||
