As the cold war in the Nandamuri family hots up, there have been a lot of speculations in the media circles as to where exactly it went wrong between young actor Junior N T Rama Rao and his uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna, who has the backing of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu. While the defection of several of Junior NTR fans led by his close friend Gudivada MLA Kodali Sri Venkateshwar Rao alias Nani into the YSR Congress party is believed to be the immediate reason for the differences, there is another speculation in the media circles of late. According to this speculation, Junior NTR’s father-in-law Narne Srinivasa Rao is trying for a Lok Sabha ticket from YSR Congress party and has almost been assured of the same. Narne happens to be husband of Chandrababu Naidu’s niece Lakshmi and naturally, everybody expects him to be loyal to the TDP. However, Narne has not been in good terms with Naidu for quite some, which had led to his taking back of the Studio-N Channel from Naidu’s son Lokesh Naidu and entrusting it to Junior NTR. Of late, the channel has been carrying negative stories about Naidu and his padayatra, while highlighting the padayatra of Y S Sharmila, sister of Jagan. It has led to the speculation that Narne is looking up to YSR Congress and is trying for MP ticket.
