VWarrior brother, I think if you have 5 year horizon (at least) steel companies may do well but shouldn't buy all today. Its too volatile at this point. China is a big wild card and no one really knows the ground reality there, I am hearing some horror stories. | ||

I think fertilizer companies like POT are better than steel, it is also down and didn't participate in the rally. I am not suggesting to loaad up right away but nibble for the long term. | ||

Molybdenum (used in steel making) demand is very weak and the futures are down. most of the coking coal (again key ingredient in steel making) producers are suffering too with the weak demand. China has too much surplus in most of the base metals. I do not see much improvement in the near term with respect to steel production. | ||
