Saw both the movies in the past couple of days. Liked both the movies. None of them were either extraordinary or bad though. My 2 cents on both of them: Nayak: Ramcharans dance was superb! One of the best dance sequences ever. Comedy was good and so were many of the one liners. But thats the end of it. Absolute template movie to the core. Wud hav been a dud if not for the above. Cant believe VVV who gave mass action thrillers like Aadi has just lost his touch. SVSC: Great star cast who were a treat to watch, a feel good telugu cinema which had nativity many cud relate to and more importantly a clean movie away frm the usual template of comedians & mass songs. But tempo was li'l flat and a few scenes were kinda repetitive. Great work by Mshesh & Venky. Anjali was cute. PR character had a lot to offer. Final View: both movies were watchable. I found Nayak to b entertaining. But probably didnt miss anything even if I hadnt watched it. But was happy & had a good feel despite its flaws. Wudnt have wanted to miss it. |
