What’s it with Illeana? Two films that have released back to back ( Julayi and DCM) and we already see attitude in air. News is that many producers and directors who are close to the actress are unhappy with her. To an extent that they are officially planning to write her off. So what’s the big crime that this actress has committed. Let’s go back and see what was her state a year and half ago. Illeana had no hits in hand. Tollywood had almost written her off. She had a string of flops to her name. Rechchipo, Saleem, Nenu Naa Rakshasi, Snehitudu, Shakti all are films that sank without trace. Then she signed Julayi and DCM. A lease of life shall we say. But when she needed to work hard on her diminishing career, Illeana was least bothered. She did not attend any promotional event related to the film. Illeana even absconded from the audio function of Julayi. Now for all these deeds of behaving irresponsibly, Illeana will be soon facing the music. Latest we hear is that a group of directors and producers do not want to cast her in their films. Director Trivikram who is red in anger is also not interested in working with her anymore. Earlier there was news that he was to cast her in his next film with Pawan Kalyan. What has Illeana to say about all this? We don’t know because she is busy with her Bollywood film Barfi. The size zero beauty who shot to fame in Tollywood, now treats it like dust. Tollywood is miffed and It’s time Illeana answered all these allegations leveled against her. |
