That is not true bro. After the approval, you will have to take the approval form and go to the local INS and get the stamp on the passport. I dont think what you said is correct. I know a lot of ppl who got their gc approved when they were in India | ||

If your passport is expiring soon , please renew here before going to India. Other wise your new I 94 date will be your passport expire date.
