you can remove the disk and stick in anti-static bag and put it in freezer couple of days, remove it shake it and put it back in the computer. That might do the trick. The other option is to use knoppix or some such linux boot software. That will boot ur computer into linux OS and they will see ur hard disk as another disk on the system. If that works, you can at least get ur data out. Good luck My imaginary friend went away for an year in search of his brain! | ||

then your hdd bricked, take professional help...if data is imp...next time create a backup strategy and follow it...I know it is dificult...we don't care much about backing up our personal data...I am also facing hdd failure problem...my secondary sata hdd bricked...data recovery is quite an expensive job if there is a hardware problem inside that hdd... | ||
