NEWS DIGEST NIT director Rao suspended Y V Rao,director of the National Institute of Technology (NIT),Warangal,who is in the eye of a storm over alleged corruption,was suspended by the Centre on Tuesday.Union HRD minister Kapil Sibal announced the suspension of Rao in Delhi.Sources said a full-fledged inquiry would be ordered into the charges pending against Rao.It was on March 24 this year Rao resigned as a result of agitations and mass protests by students.Rao has been officiating as NIT director for the past four years.Apart from corruption,he is also accused of filing ragging cases against students from Telangana region.Prof V Rama Rao,who functioned as in-charge NIT director from April 5 to April 30 during the formers absence,would continue in the post till a new candidates name is cleared.TNN | ||

Other in the list next is if proven is P Kusuma Kumari in her highness rule Gopal Rao who is Ex-director of mines i guess who helped OMC Gali Mines ...is given PHd in Mining .....  last week ousted Vice-Chancellor of the Sri Krishnadevaraya University P Kusuma Kumari was shunted out of her official bungalow on Tuesday, within a day of being removed from the post. In-charge vice chancellor Arjula Ramachandra Reddy directed university authorities to seal vice chancellor bungalow following Kusuma Kumari’s removal from the office on administration grounds. In-charge registrar T K Srinivas Rao and his personnel went to VC bungalow and sealed it. They said that they would handover Kusuma Kumari’s belongings in the building whenever she requests them. Meanwhile, Ramachandra Reddy smoothly warned various student organization leaders when they came to greet him at his chamber. He suggested that students should attend classes instead of interfering in day-to-day university administration. He added that he would not tolerate any negligence in studies. Reddy is residing in university guest house as VC bungalow was sealed. | ||
