As long as you are happy currently, it should be fine. However, you should also think from long term perspective. Put yourself five years into the future and try to see you will have any regrets.. If you are convinced you will not have any, then you should be fine.. Most of the times, it might be tough to see you will have any regrets.. The measure I usually use is whether I am using my 100% (or most of it) of the skills for my current work. If I am not using it, then there is a potential for regrets in life later. In IT industry, for that matter any industry, its tough to grow as an individual contributor after sometime. Leadership role is the better way to go up. Also, you seem to have misconception about leadership that it involves debates and arguments.. You can learn the management skills on job by becoming manager or you can try MBA to launch that path.. | ||

need ur inputs/suggestions so far... bcom pass,US lo ok chota-mota univ lo MS IS chesanu. matti burra past 5 years nundi consulting edo ok ETL tool to timepass...money is good problem enti ante...lack of confidence to take up leadership roles..team-lead avvali ante manaki anta tech knolowedge ledu.. besides, naaku confrontation ante asale nacchadu...dont like getting into debates and arguments. therefore happy working as a developer...but how long can i do this is my question...what next.. |
