Wow! Great experience. Sometime back cop gave me a ticket for not having DL even tho I had CA Temp DL and court appearance in front of judge was must. 7.30Am ki entry iste, 8:15 ki time ichhinru. Around 40 members went inside the court room. Showed a video presentation on hwo the proceeding would be for about 20mins. Judge entered. Group of 10 ni calling sethha unnaru. I was in third group. Naa turn appudu - I had two counts: One was infraction, expired registration and other was 'misdemeanor', driving without DL. Here I want to say something - If at all someone is NOT a citizen and is convicted of 'Misdemeanor', then we might be deported, no more entry to US and premanent residency would be in jeopardy --- ani naakichhina oka document lo unde. Deenemma anukunnaa asale nenu misdemeanor kinda book ainaa.. SO, BE CAREFULL Naa turn appudu - I shown the proof of registration and judge dismissed it. Second count ki matuku 'Not guilty' ani arisinaa.. Trial date in sept.. Now I know how Lindsey babe felt..  In this db, there's always someone watching you!! |
