I am happy that cup didnt go to south america. I am glad gemrnay didnt win it either. I would have been more happy had orange took it away but then spain was deserving too. The only south american country i was rooting for was paraguay and that too 'coz of the super model ricquelme something who promised to run nude if parag win it all.. too bad that didnt happen.. she was super hot..would have been feast to eyes for years.. | ||

strategy or blood sucking of opponents...... been in europe....watched football every weekend......but bored of just seeing the skill and not goals in this tourney..... final yes...holland looked like villains for thier physical play more than skill...but what about against paraguay? 1-0 score line sucks......and four of them in the last four matches......doesnt show any dominance of this winning team...... somehow.....i didnt like it.....keep the ball....keep the ball......one goal....and keep the ball again......yeah.....they are winners.....ppcchhh.... crowds and africa is more entertaining than the football on the pitch....  I mean on retrospect every goal has a millions ifs n buts....spain deserved to win cause netherlands were playing a very serious physical game...they should have been easily reduced to 9 in first half itself...u dont want a team like that to win the finals , it doesnt look good for the game... the dutch tend to get too physical when they know the opponent is dangerous...they did the same with portugese in last world cup....in that match the referee ran out of cards(tckts) and started issuing passes  | ||

FF bro, Spain used to score a lot with their free flowing style when Luis Aragones was in charge ...rem 2006 WC they scored heavily in group stages only to be knocked out...since the Euro win they changed their style to literally mean possession is our defense...torres being out of form did not really help them but they moved the ball was simply terrific...they had opponents twisting and turning in the MF just to get a glimpse of the ball...their discipline shows up when you see that their total yellow cards in the tourney was almost equal to the count the dutch got in the final For me they are deserved champs as they stuck to their plan and did what matters Germans were equally deserving than the dutch to win the cup not for the number of goals they scored but the way they scored | ||
